Northern Sydney Breakfast Run

After having such an enjoyable run to Appletree Bay in the second half of last year, it was chosen as the venue for the May breakfast outing. It is a lovely spot on the Hawkesbury River within the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park which is very popular with boaties who use the facilities to access the river, cyclists who enjoy the challenging ride in and out and motorists who want to enjoy the drive whilst trying to avoid the cyclists.

Whilst is was rather cool when we left home, it was a beautiful Autumn day well suited to veteran motoring. There were five veterans in attendance as well as a couple of other of our members in later vehicles who attended with the Antique and Classic Motor Club and a few more in their 'daily drive' vehicles.

By late morning it was time to head home, still leaving the afternoon to do other things.

Two of the Talbots sparking in the sunshine (although Tilly really is a lot shinier!)

The Wolseley with the hood down & looking quite sporty
