Thanks to Rod Holmes for providing the following information regarding the the recent 1 & 2 Cylinder Rally held in the Yamba.

It seems to have been a very successful weekend, despite the weather not being ideal with some wind and a few showers.

Rod & Ruth organised some interesting runs and a feast on the Friday night showcasing local produce which included Yamba King Prawns, Dorrigo grass fed fillet steak, local vegetables and salad and delicious home made desserts.

The Friday afternoon run was a short run around the Yamba district. On Saturday the group ventured to Maclean for morning tea, then via the cane crops of Woodford Island to the Brushgrove Hotel for lunch, before returning to Yamba during the afternoon - a round trip of 83km.

Sunday morning was another short run was through coastal rainforest and heath to Lake Woolewayah for morning tea and then onto Angourie before returning to the Calypso Tourist Park.
