Welcome to the Veteran Car Club NSW Inc.

The Veteran Car Club of Australia (NSW) Inc. was formed in 1954 to encourage the preservation and restoration of veteran motor vehicles built before the end of 1918. The Club caters for cars, motor cycles or commercial vehicles manufactured prior to 1st January 1919. For a detailed account of the history of our club's founding, click here.

What do we do?

There is a regular range of motoring events such as picnic days, charity events, weekends away at selected pleasant spots, and leisurely tours of up to a weeks duration. Motoring events are augmented by a range of social activities such as garage crawls, BBQs, and Christmas Picnic Day. Family involvement is a particular objective and encouraged at all times.  Our members also participate in various national rallies held throughout Australia, including some that cater for particular types of veteran vehicles such as 1 & 2 cylinder vehicles,  motorcycles and 'high wheelers'."

Do I have to have a Veteran car to join?

No, you don't. You just have to be interested in veteran cars. Members without vehicles are encouraged to participate in all club activities. Joining the club is the best way to learn more about Veteran Vehicles and to find out where to get one.

Where and when are meetings?

Our Sydney branch meets on the fourth Thursday of every month (except December) at 134 Queens Road, Canada Bay beginning at 8.00pm. Our Newcastle Branch meets at the Westlake Retired Mineworkers Museum at 26 James Street, Teralba.  Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month starting at 7.30pm (no meeting in December). Our MaSH Branch meets at the Mittagong RSL Club. Please check the calendar for the next meeting date.
