Who are we?
The Veteran Car Club of Australia (NSW) Inc, was formed in 1954 to encourage the preservation and restoration of veteran motor vehicles built before the end of 1918. The Club caters for cars, motor cycles or commercial vehicles manufactured prior to 1st January 1919. For a detailed account of the history of our clubs founding click here.
What do we do?
There is a regular range of motoring events such as picnic days, charity events, weekends away at selected pleasant spots, and leisurely tours of up to a weeks duration. Motoring events are augmented by a range of social activities such as garage crawls, BBQs, and Christmas Picnic Day. Family involvement is a particular objective and encouraged at all times. Our members also participate in various National Rally's held throughout Australia that cater for a vehicle of all types, including events especially for 1 & 2 cylinder vehicles, a motorcycle only event and a 'high wheeler' event.
Do I have to own a veteran car to join?
No, you don't. You just have to be interested in old cars. Members without vehicles are encouraged to participate in all club activities. Joining the club is the best way to learn more about Veteran Vehicles and to find out where to get one.
