Milbrodale Orange Orchard
A beautiful day for veteran motoring for our yearly outing to the orange orchard. A morning tea was enjoyed at Kelly and Johns’ to start the day before heading to Milbrodale via Broke. The last couple of klms is gravel heading in to Doug and Judys’ orange orchard.
6 veterans and 1 modern made up our attendance for the day, 2 Hupmobiles, 2 F.Ns., 1 Fiat and 1 Talbot.
On arrival we set ourselves up for lunch on their house lawn, either sitting in the sunshine or in the shade of the trees, which was a pleasant spot. Much chatting with Doug and Judy during lunch.
Some of the men folk decided to take a walk to see what extra Graham, Doug’s son has accumulated since our last visit.
Before long it was time for us to make our orange purchases and head for home, that being a 2½ hour drive for me back to Wyong..
An enjoyable day.
