The 2017 National Rally was based in the Clare from the 24/09/2017 to 29/09/2017. After registering at the show ground, participants attended the Town Hall where the official reception took place which included a very entertaining welcoming speech from the Mayor of the Clare and Gilbert Valleys Shire, Mayor Alan Aughay O.A.M. He also flagged away the cars the following morning as they left the show ground to visit various attractions around the town, before heading to Bungaree Station for lunch.

After being flagged away by 'Blossom the Possum' the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Shire Mascot, entrants had a choice as to how far they wished to travel. After heading to Snowtown for morning tea, where most of the Model T Ford owners lined up their cars for a group photo, you could either continue to Kadina to visit the Farm Shed Museum or return more directly via Clare to Annie's Lane Winery at Watervale.
