Gravity fed from rear oval fuel tank to a breeze carburettor Bosch DU4 magneto.
Transmission
Two speed sliding forward gears with a reverse, multi plate clutch with torque tube drive to a live axle. Transverse rear spring with semi-elliptic leaf on front.
How did you acquire the vehicle?
Purchased from heritage car owners Bob and Jenny Dunk of Tahmoor on 6/1/2009.
Brief known history of the vehicle
Originally purchased by Mr Muir of Ryde Sydney with American bodywork. Sold ten years later to Mr Walker a plumber who used it for daily calls till the mid 1920’s. It was then garaged at Gosford until purchased by Lionel Jones in 1959 who restored the wreck to participate in the 1961 VCCA (NSW) Wollongong Rally. The Dunk’s purchased the car from Jones in 2002.
What do you like & dislike about your car?
I like its easy cranking and its cruising ability for its age. I don’t like it’s poor or non-existent stopping ability

A basic vehicle with that still presents nicely for its older restoration but showing a used patina.
