Sydney Christmas Party
The change of venue and format for the Sydney Christmas Party worked out well. It was held at Linnwood House at Guilford - another of Sydney’s hidden treasures and well worth a visit. Linnwood House was built by George and Susan McCredie in 1891 when Guildford must have been in the bush. Sydney North Breakfast Outing
On what was a great day for veteran motoring, seven cars and quite a lot of members attended the latest Breakfast Outing which was held at McKell Park, Brooklyn. With great views over the Hawkesbury River it was a nice spot to enjoy a latish breakfast. We shared the spot with a few other people, four Alectura lathami, better known as Brush Turkeys and as some of the ladies found out, a rather colourful spider that lived in the 'Ladies'. Taronga Zoo 100th Birthday Celebrations
On Friday the 7th October 2016 five of our members displayed their cars outside the main entrance to the Zoo as part of the celebrations to mark the Zoo's 100 years at the site. Whilst the Zoo dates back to around 1884, it was previously located at a site known as 'Billy Goat Swamp' within the Moore Park area.
