1913 '1950' F.N restoration
Earlier today quite a few of the Newcastle Branch visited Doug & Dianne's place to check out progress on Doug's latest F.N. his 1913 '1950' model. The car is getting very close to being on the road, and despite not having the radiator fitted at this point, it was started for a few moments, during which time it was apparent the motor is nice and quiet - pretty much what you might expect from the marque. All French Day - Silverwater Park
A number of our members headed to Silverwater Park today to take part in the All French Day which this year was hosted by the Peugeot Car Club. Pie in the Sky
For at least a week before a breakfast run we always watch the weather forecasts hoping for fine weather on the coming Sunday. The report for Sunday 2 July promised a cold start as a high front was bringing frosts and dumping snow across the state. 2017 Singleton Tour
The Newcastle Branch 'winter tour' has been based at Singleton for 19 years now. This year we had better than average weather for this time of the year with the only rain of any note being experienced by some participants on the way home on Sunday. 20 cars assembled for the start at Nulkaba which was preceded by some morning tea and a briefing from 'J.B.' the Tour Director.
